Says who?

THIS JUST IN- Today in Foundations class!

Our assignment: Skimming through a New York Times article, we had to find the sources that the information came from.

Learnings: Dr. Longinow pointed out that newspaper readers read skeptically, and as journalists, we need to be aware of that. I learned today that good journalists need credible sources to back up what they are asserting. A random reader needs to be able to call up that source and hear from them that they indeed provided that information, and that is is true. Skepticism has to be able to be turned into faith. A good newspaper is a trusted one.
